@Simon Rumble: I agree there's plenty of reasons to consider Skype sucky. Alas, some friends and colleagues use it, and so it as a no-brainer. I'll add others in due course trust me. ;)

Bollocks to that. Skype sucks. Get yourself a Jabber client, like Google Talk. My address is the same as my email address.
